The M2 is a precision-milled, anodized aluminum smoking kit. Heavy in the way that feels a little intimidating. In a good way. We spent the last year building toward that feel. Obsessing over ball bearing sizes, magnet configurations, the shape of the channel they travel, a gasket adjusted by microns. Dozens of small decisions in pursuit of one result: an action that feels exactly right, every time, for a very long time.
TWO BUILDS.
The M2 is machined around its lighter. The Bic build fits the Bic Mini. The Clipper build fits the Clipper Micro. They are different bodies, not different labels, so choose the lighter you actually use. Either way, the lighter comes with it.

New M2 FAQ
What is the M2?
A precision-milled dugout and pipe set, machined from anodized aluminum. It holds your pipe, your material, and your lighter in one solid object that fits in a pocket. It is heavier than you expect. That's on purpose.
What's in the box?
The M2 dugout, an M1 titanium pipe, a matched lighter your choice of Bic Mini or Clipper Micro), and an integrated cleaning tool that lives in the body.
I own the original M2. What's actually different?
The lid mechanism is rebuilt: a new ball bearing riding a redesigned channel, with an upgraded magnet array that dampens and defines the travel. The lighter garage is now build-specific instead of one-size. And the finish lineup is new. If you liked the original, this is the same object with more of the feel and function you already love.
What's the difference between the Bic build and the Clipper build?
They are different machined bodies. The Bic build is sized for the Bic Mini, the Clipper build for the Clipper Micro. One won't fit the other's lighter, so choose the one you actually carry. Your lighter comes in the box either way.
Which colors, and how many?
Matte Black (500 units), Sand (100 units), and Ember (100 units). 700 units in this run. When a finish sells out, it's out.
When does it ship?
The New M2 is now in stock and typically shipping within 2-3 days of ordering for the standard Matte Black / Bic Edition. All other versions (Color + Clipper variants are expected to ship in the first week of October. Updates on delivery and any will be provided via email to all customers, with tracking information sent once items ship.
Will the original M2 accessories fit?
The M1 pipe lineup works with the new M2, as does the magnetic version of the poker introduced in early 2025. The new lighter garage is specific to each build's lighter (the original setup for the Bic Mini or the new option supporting the Clipper Micro).
How do I clean it?
The cleaning tool is integrated into the body and is designed to quickly dislodge any obstruction inside the titanium bat. For a more thorough clean, use Isopropyl alcohol on the metal parts, allow to soak for 15-min+ and then rinse with water and dry. Same as the original.
Where is it designed?
We design and prototype the M2 in Minnesota before handing it off to our production partner in China. For specific custom variations, including the Diamondhead poker, in-house production in Minnesota brings it to life.
